10 grade: Snacking

Read the article contained in the link "Snacking" and consider the following:

According to this article, I (Mrs. Atkinson) am a grazer. It caught up to me when I turned 40. I don't eat bad foods. I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole wheat crackers, low cholesterol cheeses, and yogurt. I do not eat chips, candy, and other sweet and salty snacks. I also do not drink soft drinks. Plenty seems to be the operative word here. I often do not have time for a proper lunch during my work hours and often graze during the day and while preparing dinner. I feel if I ate a proper lunch, I might graze less because I would be less hungry. The grazing did not hurt me when I was younger, but now my metabolism slowed down and I slowly gained weight after I turned 40. I do not have the health problems associated with obesity. However, my doctor ordered me to lose weight before I develop them. Are you a grazer? What do you snack on? After reading the article and hearing the story of a middle aged grazer, how can you change your eating habits to avoid health problems later? Your answer should be about two paragraphs long.

I think i am glazer even though i don't gain weight. I eat alot of dunk and small meals that don't fill me. Later i still be hungry so i eat something big. I snack on dunk food, fruits, and even chicken something. I love to eat fruits but my problem is eating it like three times a day.

After that i almost never get full off of dinner. Plus i eat snacks after dinner which is not a good choice. Eat more bigger things that can feel me up must faster than a snack. Cut down on the snacks like dunk and eat more fruits. Also i can do more things that can work off the weight i gain from the mulitple snacks.

I do graze all day i eat alot of unhealthy foods.When I get up in the morning i'll probably have a piece of candy instead of some toast and eggs.I Could change my eating habits by maybe eating something healthy when I get up so that i wont eat as much junk through out the day but even if I do eat a healthy breakfast I still eat junk when at lunch and after school.I often skip lunch so after school im ready to eat anything in site.So maybe if I eat lunch i wont be so hungry and maybe wait until dinner to eat again.I Really would hate to be obeast.

Yes I am grazer because everytime I eat I go play basketball. I snack on hot cheetoes, and hot fries and sometimes I dink water. I will change my life by eating right and stop eating hot cheetoes, and hot fries.
I will love to change my life so I will not be disable and I will have good eye sight. I will started eating fruits and vegetables. When I get a round 40 I will have to stop eating candy and soft drinks.

I am a snacker, actually more of a junk food expert. I love sugary foods, such as cupcakes, honey buns, and donuts. I would be seen eating one of these snacks everyday. The reason why I ate so much is because of a high metabolism. Eventually I started to stop eating so much junk food at one time.

i also am a grazer and i eat alot of unhealthy food at times but i try to eat as much healthy food as possible. Like for example i eat a orange for breakfast.I also drink plenty of water which is good for you.Also water is good for your skin.I eat alot of hot chips and candy during lunch. BUT I think i should change my eating habits. Such as eatin more fruits and actually eating a sandwhich or somthin and having a piece of fruit on the side. That might be a beter choice for me, beacause beind obese isnt a joke.

The junk food at one time started to taste nasty. Also I stopped eating junk food for a month. Then I started to eat junk food again the month after that. Then again I stopped eating junk, but not because of taste. I stopped in order to gain self-control and help stop eating junk food as much.

I am a grazer although i do not gain weight.I eat anything that has sugar i it.Just yesterday i had some graham crackers and some twinkies ho hoes ding dongs and cupcakes.Then not even an hour later i ate some steak and rice for dinner.So i am a grazer.

I know I am a grazer. Though I am a there are a few snacks that I enjoy. Some of them are like nochos or even regular chips. Though I enjoy those I also like apples and celery. Even though those are healthy the can still get to you.

My grazing habbits are healthy and unhealthy at the same time. My unhealthy grazing habbits are controlable so its easy to get in shape. I am currentaly out of shape but if I keep on the track I am I will get in shape and stay that way.

Proof read your paragragh after you a written it. Junk is spelled with a j not a d. When you answer a question make sure it has its own paragraph so you are focusing on that subject and watch your transition from paragraph to paragraph

cortne proof read before you finish writeing. Alot of your sentences is not complete. Other then that your response is good.

Karl your response was good but you need to seperate your ideas. You can't put two seperate ideas into one sentence. Also be aware of your punctuation because every sentence does not require a comma.

Revise your blogger before you post because that is where almost everyone is messing up at. A lot of students are misspelling a lot of words that should be spelled right. The verb tenses used in the sentences do not agree with one another. For example if you are speaking in the past make sure you stay in the past tense voice and not switch over to present tense. The sentence fluency is not flowing as well as it should. For example jumping from one topic to another, it makes the paragraph unclear to the reader. These are some things that should be worked on to improve your writing.

KBell needs to watch his punctuation. Make sure to watch you spelling and sentence structure. Use better transition words when begining a new paragrapgh. Also, add more detail to the blogger. Keep the reader interested in what you are talking about. You response is already good. Follow these suggestions and your blooger entries will be better.

KBell your writing is an informal speech. Meaning that you are writing as if you were talking. Watch your spelling as well.

Dakota, proof read what you write before you post the comment. You are repeating the same words over and over again. Change it up a little. Also, you are very wordy. You are using unneccesary words and it makes you sound strange.
