Do you feel Carlita Kilpatrick is a good political wife? How would you feel if you were in her position? In my opinion, she does not look very happy in the photo included in this article. Do some research on other political wives in similar situations. Compare her life to another political wife in the past that endured public humiliation and triumphed over it.

Carlita Kilpatrick endured so much embarrassment that I don't kow how she could have stood by Kwame Kilpatrick. Just like her heartache and embarrassment, Hilary Clinton had went through the same thing. Hilary and Carlita's situations are alike in the sence that their husbands had stepped outside of the marriage and found comfort elsewhere instead of in the home. Both their husbands had cheated but they acted as nothing had happened. Kwame Kilpatrick and Bill Clinton's mistresses were all over the news headlines, basicly humiliating the families and neither wife had done a thing but act as if nothing happened. The only difference was Kwame Kilpatrick had done so much to the city of Detroit that him cheating was just another thing added to the list of bad deeds.
I feel that Mrs. Kilpatrick is a good wife in general. Even with everything that is going on, she did not give up on her husband. This reminds me alot of Hilary Clinton. When Bill Clinton was president, he had a sex scandel and she still stayed with him. Those are strong women. With everything that happened, they did not leave their husbands.I think that Mrs. Kilpatrick is a good political wife because while her husband is in jail, she is taking over all of the duties of her husband.
i really do thin carlita is a good political wife. If i where in her position i dnt think i would be able to stay with him only because he made a vow when he got married and he took it upon his self to break that vow. Mrs. Kilpatrick was publically humililated. I know she feels the same way aas hillary clinton about her husband having a affair.
I feel that she is a good wife for staying by his side through everything. If I was in her shoes I believe I would of gave up a long time ago. Just from the huniliation she going thriugh I would of gave up. Hilary Clinton had went through the same thing but worse. But even though her husband cheated on her she still is married to him and is still staying by her husband side
I think that Carlita is a great political wife because she went through so much with Kwame and his publicized affair and jail time and she was still by his side. When Bill cheated on Hilary she still stuck by his side. Both couples were publicly humiliated and both women stuck by thier husband sides.
I feel Carlita Kilpatrick is a good political wife because she stood by her husband through all the controversies. She also has been the center of controversy with Lincoln Navigator that was paid for by tax payers and the altercation with stripper Tamara Green at the alleged party at the Manoogian Mansion. She has endured a tremendous amount of embarrassment with the text-message scandel that involve her husband Kwame Kilpatrick and his former lover Cristine Beatty. When it comes to political wives, Carlita Kilpatrick is not the first to endure embarrassment from the public. First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy endured embarrassment when JFK was allegedly having an affair with actress Marilyn Moore. This embarrasment will always stay with her.
I feel that Carlita is a great political wife. Even through her hurt and tears, she was able to stand by her cheating spouse. It takes a lot strength to face the public after being embarrassed. This incident is similiar to that of Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary. Mr. Clinton also had an affair on his wife. There is no doubt that these two women have experienced a great deal of pain and embarrassment, but they both continue to be there for their husbands.
I feel that Carlita was a great political wife. Though if I were in her position I would have stayed as well. It's much more incorparated in a good realationship than just money. Other wives that have been under public scrunity are Hilary Clinton and Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy. Both of their husbands were supposedly found cheating with other women.
I believe that Carlita has suffered many humiliations from the acts of her her husband former Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick.Kwame was included in the death of the stripper Tamera Green, and was also said to have a affair with Christine Beatie. Hillary clinton has suffered some of the same embarassement at the hands of her husband Bill Clinton.
