Read the article contained in the link, "School Budget Changes" and consider the following:
1. The communities affected have high property tax revenues that help fund public education.
2. With the exception of Warren, the affected communities have a population of high wage earners who could fund extra activities if needed.
3. The bill does not effect poor schools and charters. These schools do not receive extra funding through property taxes.
In your opinion, how are these educational cuts going to affect students in the state of Michigan? How do you feel about these cuts? Answer in a good paragraph.

The monet cut toward schools would effect students in a bad way. I think this because many students need special help and have program specificly for them. These programs need money and for the state to cut back the money toward these specific activities would make them feel less important or like no one cares. When teachers start lossing jobs,it will be an even bigger problem because you have no one to teach the students what needs to be learned. I feel like whoever made this decisin wasn't thinking clearly because so many kids, parents, and teachers need this extra funding to make sure the school programs and curriculum is running smoothly. So cutting back the money needed to provide the things that the school is not capable of raising or getting would be devastating to the school, community, teachers, and parents and anyone else who put their valuable time into the school system/district.
The money thats being cut is definetely going to affect the students. They are not going to have enough supplies to get the education they need. Then the schools will lose more students. The teachers will get laid off because the school will not have enough money to pay the teachers.
These educational budget cuts are definitely going to affect the students in the state of Michigan. It is depriving the students of a good education. Teachers are being laid off and their is no one to teaches these students. In addition to that, there is a lack of school supplies and textbooks.
Also cutting the funds for these school districts will affecte these students in a bad way because many students have learning disabilities and need special help and, unforunately I feel that a program such as that will possible be the first to go. Polictians in the capital must have not thought this through at all because when this decision, it is clear that they did not have the children and/or students in mind.
Like I said at the beginning of this comment, these educational cuts are depiriving students a good education and the politicians in to put their heads together and come up with a decision with children in mind.
The budget cut in Michigan schools will effect the schools in negative way. Schools need a certain amount of money to provide a decent education. Cutting the schools budget means the schools will have to readjust to some things. For example, schools may be forced to cut out certain sports or programs that cost too much. Im sure this will upset students who were interested in those things. Also, the school may not be able to provide the same level education that it's use to providing. The cuts affect the schools, the parents and the communities aroung them. Schools will have to make cuts, parents may have to pay for more things out of pocket, and the community will be upset by these cuts. I don' think cuts should be made from schools.
the budget that is being cut would effect the student.the reason why i think that is because students will not be able to get the supplies they need cause of the money getting cut.the school wouldnt have enough money to pay the teachers. i feel that they shouldnt cut the budget cause it would be a big affect on alot of things.
In my opinion, cutting the schools budget would greatly affect students in the stae of michigan. I feel that cutting the budget will disrupt school supplies for students such as school paper, pencils, school lunches, and taking important tests. I think that it would also disrupt schools funding, fundraisers, dress downs, and probably sutting down any schools that has these problems. I feel like cutting the budgets for schools would soonly start closing down and many students and children would have to stop attending school because of the budget problems.
Education cuts are not going to be a good thing at all. People are really creating a problem by trying to fix another issue. If they cut some of the funding on education then eventually schools will be closed down. If they close down schools then the schools that are still open will be over populated. With more students in such a small area, more drama will be started. Students will no longer want to come to school because of the problems there. That will increase the drop out rate and ultimately ruin the economy in the future. With all of these children dropping out, the students with no high school diploma will not have jobs. That will make the economy so much worse then it is now.
