In writing, logical fallacy is when you contradict yourself. Read the article contained in the link Therapy Dog and find the logical fallacy in the article. You may want to ask me a few questions to help clarify your answer. There are a few misconceptions about a Therapy dog program in this article. My dog Tank and I are a registered therapy dog team through Therapy Dogs International. On Tuesday evenings, Tank helps children with reading at a local library. On Saturday, Tank comforts lonely senior citizens at a residential care center. Here is your post:
In what way does this article contain logical fallacy (contradict itself)? Explain carefully.
There will be another question regarding this article tomorrow. You need to ask Mr. Alvarado his opinion about using a dog to help students in a school setting.

i dont know i guess because its talking about certain things that dogs cant do or something i dont know though man.
Therapy dogs is a good thing.I thimk this because some kids need more help then others and the dog may just be what they need. Also mentioned in the article it said Therapy Dogs calm them down when anxious or having anxiety attacks or get help reading. Its non-profit and the people are doing a good thing.
But at the same time the owner is having private fundraisers to train the dog.
The problem with the article is that they said that the dog was employed by the school district. In reality the dog was not employed by any one. The teacher privately raised money to train the dog so she can bring him to school for the children.
The problem with this article is it is contrdicting itself. They said that the dog was employed by the school disrict. When really the dog can be employed by anyone.
I think that therapy dogs are a wonderful thing. This article does contradict itself though. First it states that the dog was employed by the school. later it states that the dog belongs to a teacher who works at the school. This article is also wrong because it points out that the teacher who owns ceasar (the dog) recieves sponsorships. In reality, you are not allowed to recieve any kind of money when working with a therapy dog. Also the dog is not suppose to wear a vest while working with the children and in the video he has one on.
This articles' logical fallacy is the in the begining of the article it says that the dog was employed by the Brinton school district. However, at the end of the article it days that the school was not receiving any funds for the k-9's services.
The fallacy in the article was the dog was suppose to be sponsered by the school but the owner of ceasar raised the money in sponsership. Although everyone thought ceasar had insurance he really didn't.
personally i think the therapy dog is probably a good thing to have in the middle school to help kids. but some kids may be frightend by the dog. and its not fair to have a dog employed at a school.
Therapy is definately a bad program one reason is because dogs are unpredictable they can become agressive at anytime and attack students and also some students may be allergic to dogs and become ill.
Some of you did not answer the question asked!!! Read the question before you answer.
I think that the Therapy dogs are a great idea to have in schools. The dogs can help kids get over fear of talking in front of people and help with anxiety
The contradiction in the article is that it says the dog is employed by Brighton School District. If the dog is employed by the school district, he recieves money from the school. However, later on in the article it says the dog is sponsored and doesn't recieve funds from the school district.
