Yes, I feel that it is important for a good leader to be ambitious. In order to lead people you must have to desire and willingness to do whatever it takes to accomplish the goals of the people you are leading. You have to that fire in your stomach that nobody can put out. Ambition is also important because if a leader loses this apathy will spread throughout the people. So yes ambition is needed to be a good leader
Yes, I do feel that ambition is a good quality that a leader should have. Ambition is good to have because you need that when you are talking about being a leader or either a authoritative figure. Ambition means an earnest desire for some type of achievement or distinction, as power, honor, fame, or wealth, and the willingness to strive for its attainment. This means, in my own words, the ability to strive for something greater in yourself, others or in a certain activity that you do. Striving for something better is a tremendous quality that you must have in order to survive in this world.
I don't feel you have to nesscesary fight for power to be a leader. A good leader just needs something to fight for. As long as a leader has a strong drive to fight for, they will be a great leader.
Yes, I believe that ambiton is an important quality of leadership. When being a leader you have to have that desire in your heart to strive for what you want to accomplish. You have to be eager to reach your goal. You have to keep in mind that your leading people you have to have ambitious dreams, because if you dont ahev a dream your followers wont either!!!
Yes, I do think that ambition is important for a good leader. Because in order to be a leader you must have a little ambition. Meaning that a leader can have a desire to attain a goal. Ambition can also be betrayed in a leader as taking risks that go for the good of the group. That is why I think that ambition is a good quality for a leader.
I agree with Ryan, you hae to have that desire, and that fire that cant be put out. Most people would give up after they fail once, but an ambitious person would pick themselves right back up and continue to strive for excellence
I feel that it is important for a leader to have drive, but it's not that important for leaders to be extremely ambitious. With ambition comes many problems. The desire to always accomplish both your individual goals and the goals of the people can cause a person and those around them to go crazy. Although ambition is what is needed to asure people all is well too much can result in a riot.
Yes, ambition is a very important quality for a leader to have. you can not be considered a real leader if you are not determined. A leader is considered to do whatever it takes to get what ever needs to be done, done. If the leader dose not have ambition then the peop,e that follow him/her and look up to him/her will feel like there is no reason to do what needs to be done. This is why i feel that ambition is a good quality for a leader to have.
Ambition is showing good leadership. I believe anyone who has ambition has the spirit to do good in life. It fuels you to always try your best no mater whats going on in your life. It also sets you goals in order.
Yes, I feel that it is very important to have ambition if you want to be a good leader. When have ambition you are not going to be just another leader you have it in your heart and you are willing to sacrifice to be a good leader
I agree with Ashley. Throughout life you set certain goals. Some you accomplish and some you fail, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that you never give up or quit at anything you do.You keep striving for excellence and you will succeed.
I agree with what ryan said. you have to have a type of desire and willingness to acomplish the goals that you have set for the people that you are leading. Ambitionis an exremely important quality for a leader to have. Without it how will anyone be able to look up to you?
I agree with Shanaye' alittle bit, I feel that ambition can be a good quality a leader can have. Ambition is something that when fought for, can only be achieved by the best of leaders. And even though I agree with Shanaye', I still say that fighting for power while good for a leader, is just not the right thing to fight for. Because when fighting for power most of the time you are hurting others just for yourself.
I am commenting on Ryan's post he said of the same things I said about a leader needing to be ambitious. And have a desire and willingness to obtain goals. That is what I think the importance of ambition is and the quality is.
I do believe that ambition is a good quality to own when you are a leader. You have to aspire to do something that you are very passionate about. If you don't have the ambition to do anything, you will not succeed at all. All it takes is a little push to take you to where you want to go and you will go places fast!
Of course ambition is a good quality in a leader. Why wouldn’t it be? If you don't have ambition, it's like not having any goal to accomplish. If you are a leader, you are going to lead people and people look at you to help them through problems. How can you lead, and guide someone without ambition, or goals. You have to know where you want to go in order to get there. If you don’t know where you want to go, you are a soul on a mission without a purpose!
I agree with Ryan Davis in some ways. Ambition can be used for good to help one accomplish their goals. If a person has ambition it allows them to be a better leader!

Yes i do believe its important for leaders to have ambition. In fact its very important. Like Rdavis2009 said thay must have the desire and willingnes. They should keep in mind the phrase by any means necessary. They should do what they got to do to succeed.
would believe ambition is a great quality in a leader. When you're ambitious you always strife for the things and goals you want to accomplish. Ambition can drive you to be a great success because it's hard for you to give up and you'll keep trying and going until you reach the top. Sometimes people even exceed over their goal limit and still is never satisfied. I would have to believe that ambition is one of the qualities every leader should have; just don't be ambitious in the wrong way.
I am commenting on Donald's response to the blog and I am agreeing with him. When you have ambition and you want to be a good leader, you are willing to do and sacrifice anything to do it.
I would like to comment on Sarah's blog. No you dpn't have to fight for powe,l but you do have to fight, and strive for what you believe in. I believe that if you don't people will loose faith in you as a leader.
I agree Courtney with when you have ambition it means that you are determined to be great and you won't let anyone get in your way.
