Debate

Did Friday night's presidential debate have a clear winner or was it a draw? Give a good reason to support you answer. If you did not watch the debate, find an Internet article on the debate, read it, and respond.

I seen a little bit of the debate. From what i saw it was a draw because they had different answer about the different situation but they answers were ok.

Since I did not actually see the debate, I read an article on CNN's website. From what I have read, no one exactly one the debate. Also, they have adressed the fact that niether candidate touched on certain issues like they should have. The article also seemed to bash McCain more than Obama because he did not touch on the issue about Middle Class citizens. He stated that he had "better things to worry about than that."

Yes, i did and I feel that we do have a full clear cut winner and that is Barack Obama. He stated the issues about fixing the econmoy prices. And getting better health care. He is trying to look out for the litle person. Unlike McCain, he is only looking out for himself and other upper class Americans.

I didnt actually watch the debat yet i saw a glimps of it flicking through the channels and with just that glimps i feel that it was obviously clear that Senator Obama has a better view of what the world should be. He has a plan that could only change the world for the better and i'm all for it!

Once again, I did watch the debate. I see that the presidential debate still has an obvious chance of winning. I paid attention to the details, I'm being honest not just because I'm for democrats, but it's not oblivious that Obama really does see the issues that are going across the nation. The people are his main concerns. Obama is looking forward to helping all the classes, especially lower and middle class and fix the economy, we're in too deep.

I dont think that I could determine a winner from the information that I read. Both John McCain and Barack Obama had very good answers and they both had information to back up there responses. But in reality being a Obama supporter I think that he is the most qualified for the job he stands behind his words. Most likely Obama words are words you can trust!

I didnt watch the whole debate but I did catch a few minutes of it. I think Obama have a better chance. But who's to say off of the debate because everyone has they own opinion on each statement that was made.

believe that Obama won the debate concerning the war and economy that took place on Friday. McCain keep saying that we were not having a problam concerning the war in Iraq. In all actuality they did not think out there stratogy before they went to war. On the othe hand Obama was stating that before we go to war again we were going to think more wisely on our next move. They both had good opinions when it came to our alliance with Russia. For the most part Obama had the dest debate tactics.

PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE:
I feel that Obama spanked McCain the presidential debate. Obama obviously answered all of the questions clearly and spoke of what he can and will do once he is elected as president. At least he has a running candidate who actually knows what he's talking about and we need a president who cares about the people. We need a president that is for the people and not against us and who knows which direction to go in order to achieve that goal. We need a president that knows what's wrong with the econonmy and knows how to fix it and bring it back to its former glory.

I did watch the debate. I can't actually tell you who won because both sound so profound in each answer and both brought out good points. One thing I notice about each candidate was how both of them suffered in life in there on kind of way. John McCain was a fugative in war and Barack Obama grow up without a father and in rough neighborhood. While listening to the debate I realize that I don't want a person to look like a president or sound like one by using big words but I want a president that is going to help me as well as my family. So when you vote for Barack make sure your note voting for him because he's black but vote for him because you he can stand by his word and he is for the people(middle and lower class).

Donald,

Obama was raised by his grandparents in Hawaii. His mother was a teacher in Indonesia and did not want him to grow up in the country. She shipped him home to her parents. He had a pretty middle class life and attended private school.

well the debate was unclear to me who won. i know that mcCain always have something negative to say about barak obama. For instant when barak always had somthin good to say he would always come back sayin something negative

I am commenting on Josh's blog I feel that he didn't explain the debate better. And he could have found more information about either candidate, Obama or McCain.

I agree with Destiny about Obama looking out for the little person. Obama is working to get the middle class citizens the same advantages as the upper class people. My only critique is that instead of saying unlike McCain, he is only looking out for himself and other upper class Americans, say unlike McCain who is only looking out for himself and upper class, Obama is looking out for those most important.

I completely agree with Destiny on the fact of Josh's comment... His grammar needs much work and he needs to state a more clear understanding as to what he is trying to say.

I think that it was okay but I'm not that much into the debate because I don't really like taking side. BUt it was okay and I like the fact that they have courage in speaking up and the right to have the mind of changing the world so that thigns can get better.

From what I read on the internet, there was actually no flat out winner from the debate. But also they said that both parties made very wise points.
