09/17/2007: Please respond

There is much obesity and heart disease in the United States. Some experts say American eat too much trans fat. Many restaurant chains are removing trans fats from their food products. Starbucks has also started using 2% milk in coffee drinks because it reduced the calories in the drink by 1/3. Other experts believe that Americans need to exercise more. In your opinion, how can Americans become fitter?

To be honest, the best way to stay fit is to exercise and watch what you eat. Most likely it's ok to fast food every now and then, but on a regular basis it can become unhealthy.

I feel that the only way that we as Americans can stay fit is by eating healthy. We can also exercise on a regular basis. Eating healthy with proper exercise will decrease the chances of heart failure and diabetes.

To become more physically fit and healthy, Americans should start exercising more and lounging around less. We need to start to eat more healthy instead of junk and fast foods. Little things such as taking the stairs instead of the elavators or riding a bike instead of driving are ways to start on becoming more fit and healthy.

well, to become a more fit america we must have self restaint, and confidence that you will stay fit or become fit. eating healthy is an important factor in being fit and exercise as well. these things and a positive attitude will help americans become the fit country they're supossed to be.

I think the best way for American to become more fit, and healthier, is simple and challenging at the same time. I think that everyone should eliminate fast foods, so much carbs, and also pork out of their diet. Another tip is that you should exercise at least thirty minutes a day, and as we continue increase the amount, as we go along.

I know that everyone knows how to watch there weight. Its not there faults that were overweight its ours. so really we cant blame anyone but ourselves about the obesity in the world today. many people can try to exersise and eat more healty snacks but a person has to eat.

I think that most Americans weigh too much and eat too many fatty foods. Even though its not good for them and its also not healthy for them.

The best way for america to get into shape is to watch what you eat and get exercise. Some say exercise is too hard, well do normal things like get up and change the channel on the T.V instead of using the remote, walk the dog, cut the grass, and walk around.

I think that Americans can become more fitter in both ways. yes obesity can come from eating fast food but no one says that you have to eat it all the time. No one is forcing you to eat it. Sometimes you have to obligate yourself to do the right thing. You may not want to at the moment but if its for the best you might as well.

I think the best way for Americans to stay in shape and healthy is by reading the labels on food more often. The key to staying in shape is reading the labels on your food because this way you are aware of what you are eating. I also think if more people learn how to exercise this would really help Americans stay healthy. I personally went through an experience with my father this summer. He had a massive heart attack but before the heart attack occured he fainted. He is the type of person to always exercise, but if you are working off healthy weight it doesn't benefit you in the long run. I said that to say, just because you work out does not mean you will not have health problems, working out and staying in shape just decreases your chance of many illness's and diseases.

In my opinion I feel as many need to work out after they eat. They also need to watch what they eat and when they eat it. Majority eats fast foods that is not good for you. Their food is usually fatty and greasy , also cause heart burn. I feel as you eat healthy you can stay healthy. Start at a daily routine or diet.

I believe that if you eat in smaller portions and eat slower you will lose wieght and be healthier.
